Had a Good Day

August 26th 2008 19:34

My 7yr old grandson had his very first football game Saturday.I made it.I was so glad.My head has been doing the rollercoaster ride thing. But I made it.It was hot in those bleachers. But being able to see him play,I was so excited. He was great and his team won!
He worked hard and was so serious. This will be the only game he's in this season, they're the younger group.
I am so grateful to have made it.

Oh the weather outside can cause pain

I love this idea.I have read that Germany's national weather service issues daily bulletins for every large city, for barometric pressure to let those with migraine know what to expect.I know the weahter channel has "an aches and pain index" factoring in barometric pressure, humidity, chance of precipitation, temperature and wind.
But the idea that you can sign up anonymously registering their condition, postal code, sex and age to receive an email a day ahead of certain weather conditions that could exacerbate your conditon is so great.
A weather-health index called MediClim, will soon be available. This is the creation of the Canadian Medical Meteorology Network.
I want the service here,in the U.S. The weather plays a major factor in my migrgraine illness.I wonder when we can get something like this.
