Finally,some relief and enjoyment

This week was a hard week to get through.The rain really played with my head.Today,the rain let up and we were able to actually get out and do a few things.
We went to breakfast,went up on the Blue Ridge Parkway,picked up my meds.Then this afternoon we spent time with family.I hadn't seen my grandkids in awhile.
I am grateful for this day.Wow,to feel human again.To be able to have an enjoyable time with grandkids,nothing better than that!

Migraine emotions

This is a low.I don't know what to do.I've had good days,now it's not good.I'm on edge,I'm tired.
Please know that if you have migraine attacks,highs and lows can be a sign of an upcoming migraine.
Chronic migraine,I'm finding plays games with my emotions.I don't always have a higher level of pain afterward,but sometimes it does.
I really want people around me to get it.To not think just a few days of better,doesn't mean I am.

Botox for migraine:Back in the News Againg

I see Botox is back in the news again,for migraineurs.Hmmm.........and it may be approved by the FDA in a few years.And how many years have I been hearing this...at least since 2005.

So,on we go.I used just the one site for info.There are many announcements out there on a regular basis saying how great the results are with the use of botox.
When I hear this and then there's another study saying that it may be approved in the next few years for migraine..what?
I guess I'll look for a new study,maybe I can get in on it.I don't have insurance,but even for those who do,very few could get it covered through insurance.I don't understand,with all these studies,all these years,the evidence is there that for chronic migraine,it may be the answer.What is the problem,what is the wait?

Pain,feeling sick,sad,mad

The weather has done a real number on my head.Right now the sun is out but we've had lots of rain lately.
My head hurts so bad right now.It's time for me to go lay down,got my 2 favorite throws,my favorite pillow.I have my dramamine,which I think I'll end up taking soon.
This just is so bad.And emotionally,I don't want to go to the er,I don't want to have this high level pain.I get so mad

Missing pregnant 18yr old migraineur

So,I was looking for migraine news and there is a story I want to place here.In Shreveport Louisiana,there is an 18 year old pregnant migraineur.She suffers both severe migraines and severe asthma and needs medical attention.It is known that she had no meds for either condition when she left home.
