A Rare Occasion

Wonder of a Single Day!!
Unforgettable!


This is a day I will cherish. I was able to make it to my sister's home today.My youngest daughter drove me. It was the first time we were able to make it out there, the first visit bringing my newest grandchild to see her.

My sister is ill. She has MS,which has taken it's toll on her. And other problems with her bones,her spine. She has also been diagnosed with Parkinson's. I am in awe of her attitude. The struggles she has faced and faces every day are unreal. She is just 6 years older than me,she has been ill for the past 7 years. Facing these struggles beginning at around the age of 52.
The age that I am now. Tho I cope with chronic migraine pain,the pain she has to endure makes me feel like I've been such a baby.
But,she gets it..she knows what pain can do. We talk to each other every day.
I am so glad to have been able to make it today. I needed to see her,hug her.
I hope that the visit helped her as much as it did me.I think so,seeing her with my granddaughter there,the glow she had as she looked at her great niece. The conversation she had with my daughter.
Today was another day to hold onto. Awesome!
