Migraine is all in your head

I'm a migraineur that had insurance and now for the past 4 yrs have not. There's an excellent clinic near me.In fact, they work harder there than any doctor ever did to help me when I had insurance.Migraine has progressed to chronic.I'm never without pain.
I was able to get a referral to a neurologist for an appointment.I had that appointment a couple of days ago.As of a little over 2weeks ago,I started having a new symptom, facial pain.I've had it occasionally in the past. This pain now is a high level and hasn't gone away. The night before my appointment the pain kept me up all night.
While waiting for the doctor, the pain just got to me.I broke down crying, head in hands.I didn't hear the doctor come in,he leaned over and said "Hello??" twice. Then he asked me if I was depressed.I should've left right then.
We went over my history.I made sure I didn't leave anything out of symptoms, how migraine had taken over my life. That I've been homebound.
At the end of the appointment, his notes to the clinic would be that I should have a cat scan done for sinus. He thinks my facial pain is sinus! And that I should be tried on a new med for depression.
On the way home I didn't feel well at all.I knew I was going to get sick.I had to have my husband stop the car twice. It was from the facial pain.
This is not sinus. And I don't need something for depression.
Migraine is a real disease. It needs to be treated that way. Most doctors don't want to treat migraineurs.Migraine is complicated. And you can't see it on an xray or mri.You can't try to cut it out.You can't point and say here is the problem. So they make it an emotional,or mental problem.
It's way past time to get real with treating this real disease.
