Poor Health with Chronic Migraine
I have Chronic Migraine. I have found a short article at migraine monitor which I will post a link to here.
My migraine disease has progressed to chronic migraine over the years,going from really over 30 years ago,not knowing it was migraine without pain,to migraine attacks that sent me to the ER
passing out,vomiting,convulsing. To being homebound for over four years,not even being able to look out of the window of my house.
I had a short time period of about 4 months of low level pain. I was excited to get behind the wheel of a car again, being able to swim every day, participate in family events. The simple little things become giant accomplishments. I took none for granted.
Then, things started to go backward. I am not nearly as bad as I was...but my limitations are growing and I am filled with fear of the pain putting me in isolation again.
I have pain that is constant,right now I could scream with the pain and inside I am...I am so tired,I am fighting this,but losing more and more battles.
There is nothing that helps me. I do take time for quiet,prayer,visualization. Depression,well,I am trying to fight that...hard enough as it runs in my family anyway. I get the auras,all this scares me,as the studies show how migraine with aura increases your chances of stroke,which also run in my family.
Tired,worn out,sad and scared.
