From Holiduhs to Holidays..again

I wrote this back in November 2010,posted it on this blog and wanted to share it again!
So, my I want it to be Favorite Time of Year is almost here! The problem I have is by the time I'm able to get into what I call the Holiduhs,they are over!
I continued that tradition with my own children,we have three daughters. It just made sense to me.
I saw a show that made a good point, ask your kids what they got for Christmas last year. Now, really, will they know? So, all the stress, the running to get them everything on that list is for, what?
I think if people would simplify the holiduhs, maybe they'd go back to being holidays!
I need to keep my stress down,to keep my pain level down. My suggestion to people, the gift of spending time together is priceless. And maybe instead of kids getting so much they won't remember, why not have them pick up a few things for those kids who may not be getting anything to remember.Now,that's could make a holiduh into a holiday worth remembering!
