Migraine Wins,You lose
Unless you go through it,You don't get it! Even though someone may have seen you go through attacks many,many times,they still don't get it. And how quickly so many forget how bad migraine attacks someone.
I have had eyes rolled at me by nurses when they hear the word migraine.I have been threated with security when I staggered up to see why others who came in hours behind me with minor issues were taken in front of me.
I've been humiliated, scoffed at, given a shot,which never works and just sent home.
Even those close to me forget the years I spent in the dark,most of the time under the covers in pain. Once you show any signs of life, those around just assume you're fine.
You can take all the precautions, you can "manage migraine" work your life around chronic migraine and still LOSE.
The pain is so much to cope with...but the treatment by others makes it so much worse to "live" with!
