I came across this article and really felt it was important to post it. I am now 52, but in my 20's I went through much of what the woman in this article did and the doctors had no idea how to help me.
I remember waking up one morning and the bedroom was upside down.I could not get out of bed. I couldn't go to work. I was not able to get into the car to get to the doctor's. By the time I was able to walk,it was evening,so that meant the E.R. They had no clue. Back then,I never heard the word migraine.
I worry for my daughters now who are experiencing much of what I did and will make sure they get checked out.
Having gone through this and having the auras, along with chronic migraine, I am always searching for new developments to help migraineurs.Not just for me,for my daughters,my grandchildren and for all other migraineurs.

Beth Leslie had gotten occasional migraines for years. She thought of them as a painful imposition, nothing more.
