Scents in the holiday season

I have to be careful,even in the grocery store with all the stuff out for the holidays. I do wonder why they decide to put potent cinnamon scented pine cones and decorations in the fruit and vegetable section. I have gone to that section and almost got sick from the smell being so strong.
Shopping just for some new decorations, they have all the scented decorations there,too and in a few minutes I am nauseous and my head pain goes up.
I am not crazy about shopping as it is, but dealing with this makes it even harder.
